As you've probably guessed by now, each of those players were featured as card No. 200 in their respective years in the Topps base set. And this is my 200th post!
In the two-and-half months since I've figured out how to track dumb stuff like this, this blog has had over 9,600 hits and over 6,200 unique visits.
All of these are tiny numbers to you veterans who are in the thousands in posts and in the stratosphere in hits (and to those of you who post 50 times in less than two days). But still, I couldn't and wouldn't have gotten this far without all of you.

Irony is that the Mendoza line allegedly got his name from George Brett looking at the papers and, in disgust, finding he was below Mario, and George gets card #200 twice.
